NHS Choices update

NHS Choices is being updated, with new features, expanded content, and significantly enhanced navigation.  The service is designed to help people make the most of their own health and get the best out of the UK’s healthcare system.  People using the site can find good quality information about medical conditions, treatments, advice on healthy living, and comparative data on hospitals.

NHS Choices is a long-term project, which will continue to evolve over the next 18 months with new features and content added via a series of planned new releases. The new service is flexible and will continually improve and adapt in response to feedback from those in and outside, of the NHS.  

The first significant changes are taking place in November and several exciting new features and content have been added. Many of the important changes are being made in response to the wide consultation that has been undertaken with users, both amongst the public and health professionals, since June.  Please read the Newsletter to find out how to get the best out of NHS Choices.
