Pay Framework for Very Senior Managers in Strategic and Special Health Authorities, Primary Care Trusts and Ambulance Trusts - Updated 22 October 2008

The framework covers: chief executives, executive directors (except medical directors and directors of public health) and others with Board level responsibility who report directly to the chief executive. The framework document includes details of the dates from which the new arrangements will apply to different organisations and staff.

6 November 2008: Very Senior Managers’ Pay Framework extended to cover Special Health Authorities. Policy Document updated to reflect 2008/9 rates and includes: revised paragraphs on Directors’ Pay (with new appendix); new paragraphs specifically on SpHAs; and updated contact information for SHA HR Leads.
